Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 05/25/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images. Minimum Requirements: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with MR credential (ARRT (MR)). BLS certification required. MRI advanced level certification and state licensure applicable for Nebraska. Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or acute care setting preferred. Experience with GE 3T and GE 1.5T scanners preferred. Experience with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS preferred. Ability to float and cover CT, X-ray, OR and Endoscopy as needed. X-ray or CT competency preferred. Willingness to work varied schedules including holidays and respond to call/standby assignments. Must comply with client radius rule: candidate must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility and may not be currently employed (full time, part time, or PRN) with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity. Driver’s license required at time of submittal for radius verification. Department-specific requirements: artificial nails are prohibited for patient care staff. Failure to comply may result in termination of contract. Orientation requirement: 12 hours plus 1–2 unit-specific shifts of orientation. Preferred: additional cross-training in X-ray, CT, or ultrasound is beneficial. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Primary specialty: MRI Technologist. Shift name: Days. Shift details: Days 1000-1900 (5x8). Shift notes: Schedule may include Days 1030-1900 Monday through Friday plus call requirements and varied weekend/holiday coverage. Scanners onsite: GE 3T and GE 1.5T (2 MRI rooms). Charting system: EPIC. PACS: McKesson. Orientation hours: 12 hours and 1–2 unit-specific shifts. Floating/coverage expectations: CT, X-ray, OR, Endoscopy, Emergency Department as needed. Cancellation policy: Hospital may cancel shifts in accordance with client policy for the assignment.
