We are partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Nashville to hire a
Philanthropic Partnerships Manager
to support and grow individual giving at the $5,000+ level. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused fundraiser who enjoys working closely with donors, partnering with leadership, and actively managing a portfolio—without the pressure of a large team or highly corporate environment.
This position focuses on
building authentic donor relationships, strengthening engagement, and growing philanthropic support over time . The ideal candidate brings a balance of donor relationship management, storytelling, and strategic thinking, and is excited to be hands-on in a growing program.
What You’ll Do
Major Donor & Donor Relations Management
Manage a portfolio of approximately 100–125 donors and prospects with giving capacity beginning at $5,000
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships through regular outreach, meetings, and stewardship
Develop and execute thoughtful cultivation and solicitation plans aligned with donor interests and organizational priorities
Prepare donor briefings, proposals, stewardship communications, and impact updates
Partner with senior leadership on select donor strategies, meetings, and solicitations
Donor Growth & Pipeline Development
Identify and qualify new prospects through research, referrals, events, and community engagement
Work to upgrade annual and mid-level donors into leadership-level giving
Support the growth of a sustainable major gifts pipeline, including donors with $10,000+ potential
Assist in revitalizing planned giving efforts through identification, cultivation, and stewardship
Collaboration & Oversight
Collaborate closely with the Donor Relations Manager to ensure a strong, consistent donor experience
Support alignment across individual giving, monthly donors, direct response, and stewardship efforts
Maintain accurate donor activity and moves management within Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT
What They’re Looking For
5+ years of fundraising or donor relations experience, ideally with individual or major gifts
Proven ability to manage donor relationships and successfully solicit and close gifts
Strong communication, writing, and storytelling skills
Comfort engaging donors, organizational leaders, and community stakeholders
Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple relationships and priorities
Experience using donor databases or CRM systems (Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred)
Passion for mission-driven work and community impact
