4-Month Contract-to-Hire
Our client is seeking an experienced
Safety Technician
to support critical safety operations in an active construction environment, with a strong emphasis on
electrical safety .
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience supporting energized work,
NFPA 70E ,
Arc Flash , and
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
programs—not just general construction safety.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support project safety programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Perform frequent jobsite audits with a focus on hazard identification and mitigation
Provide safety expertise and corrective action recommendations for identified risks
Lead safety trainings including:
Energized Electrical Work
Arc Flash Awareness
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
Fall Protection and HazCom
Partner closely with field teams, subcontractors, and electrical trades
Conduct incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
Respond to safety concerns, emergencies, and customer requests for support
Prepare reports, safety briefings, and maintain compliance documentation
Coordinate safety requirements with management and customer stakeholders
Support injury case management and coordination with insurance/vendors
Manage safety equipment, supplies, and training resources
Qualifications
We’re prioritizing candidates with:
OSHA 510 Construction Certification
(required)
Experience supporting
electrical scopes of work
in construction environments
Strong knowledge of
NFPA 70E , energized work protocols, and electrical hazard mitigation
CPR and First Aid certifications
Experience conducting incident investigations and delivering safety training
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local safety regulations
Ability to recognize hazards and recommend effective corrective measures
Work Environment
This position supports both
office and active construction jobsite environments
and requires walking, standing, auditing field work, and responding to changing site conditions.
