About the Role
Join a high-impact team delivering a
Next Generation AMI Program
with a $378M program budget. As the AMI Project Manager, you will own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-year infrastructure initiatives spanning metering hardware, communications networks, IT systems, field operations, and vendors. You will be the integrator, communicator, and risk manager keeping this program on track.
What You'll Do
Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent AMI workstreams
Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning IT, Operations, Meter Services, Customer Operations, and external vendors
Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, field deployment schedules, and contractual milestones
Develop and deliver executive status reports, dashboards, and governance updates
Identify and proactively mitigate program risks and issues
Support regulatory, audit, and compliance documentation as needed
What You Bring
4+ years managing complex infrastructure, technology, or large-scale deployment programs
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Proven experience managing schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams
Comfortable managing vendor-led implementations and field deployment activities
PMP certification preferred but not required
Utility or AMI experience a plus — not required

Familiarity with AMI components — meters, RF/mesh/cellular networks, HES, MDMS
Experience in a regulated utility environment
Flexible, adaptable mindset in a fast-moving program environment
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business or related field — or equivalent experience
