Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Purchasing Agent
to manage procurement activities and support inventory needs. This role is critical in ensuring timely purchasing, cost control, and maintaining strong supplier partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing and terms
Issue purchase orders and track order status to ensure timely delivery
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with warehouse and operations teams
Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information
Resolve discrepancies related to shipments, pricing, or invoices
Analyze purchasing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
Qualifications
2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
