Title: Project Specialist
Contract Duration: 8 Months with potential extension/FTE based on the business needs
Schedule: Hybrid – Atlanta, GA
Pay: $40 - $49 on W2
Position Overview:
The Implementation Specialist is responsible for onboarding new clients onto the company’s platform, ensuring a seamless and successful implementation experience. This role involves consulting with clients to understand business needs, configuring solutions accordingly, coordinating technical integrations, and maintaining consistent communication with both internal teams and client stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the onboarding and implementation process
Act as a subject matter expert, advising clients on best practices to maximize platform value
Lead client-facing kickoff meetings, requirements gathering sessions, and configuration reviews
Configure the platform based on client-specific business needs and operational workflows
Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to support integrations and complex implementations
Track, manage, and communicate project progress, including risks and blockers, to leadership
Provide ongoing updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment
Train clients to become self-sufficient and confident in using the platform
Conduct webinars and group training sessions for smaller or independent clients
Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success and other internal teams to ensure timely and successful implementations
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and innovation
Qualifications & Requirements:
5+ years of experience in implementation, customer success, or customer support roles
Strong attention to detail, particularly related to workflows and process execution
Working knowledge of accounting and financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks) and related processes such as monthly close, expense management, and audits preferred
Ability to quickly learn and apply accounting concepts if prior experience is limited
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills, with the ability to train and coach effectively
Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and executive-level stakeholders
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Strong drive for continuous improvement and professional growth
