Overview
The Senior PLM Project Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives, with a primary focus on Oracle PLM–based implementations and integrations. This role owns project delivery from initial scoping through execution, reporting, change control, and closeout. Operating as the primary client partner, the Senior PLM Project Manager translates business requirements into clear, executable project plans while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
This is a fully remote role that requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple concurrent PLM projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full project lifecycle for PLM initiatives, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and change control
Manage Oracle PLM implementations and system integrations, ensuring alignment with client business objectives
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and maintaining clear, consistent communication
Coordinate and manage internal teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts
Ensure adherence to our client’s PMO standards, methodologies, and governance processes
Provide clear, actionable project reporting to clients and executive stakeholders
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
Manage scope changes through formal change control processes
Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and steering committee updates
Support continuous improvement of PLM delivery practices and PMO standards
Required Qualifications
Proven experience managing enterprise PLM projects, preferably Oracle PLM implementations and integrations
Strong background in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects successfully
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate complex business requirements into executable project plans
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in consulting or professional services environments
PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification
Familiarity with ERP, SCM, or related enterprise system integrations
Experience working within a formal PMO structure
