Westminster Catawba Christian School (WCCS), a Christ-centered, college-preparatory school in Rock Hill, South Carolina, is seeking its next Head of School. Serving 819 students from Early Childhood through 12th grade and operating with an annual budget of $9.3 million, WCCS partners with Christian families to provide an education grounded in biblical truth, academic excellence, and the holistic formation of each student. As a ministry of Westminster Presbyterian Church (PCA), the school has experienced steady enrollment growth and is recognized for its strong community, committed faculty, and mission-driven culture.
Following a season of stability and growth, WCCS is well-positioned for the future, with strong enrollment, stable finances, and increasing demand for Christ-centered education in the greater Rock Hill and Charlotte region. An experienced interim leader is providing stability and progress, preparing the way for the next permanent Head of School.
The next Head of School will be a spiritually grounded and relational leader who brings clarity, decisiveness, and strategic insight. This individual will have the opportunity to build upon a strong foundation, cultivate unity across the community, and guide WCCS toward continued excellence and faithful, long-term sustainability.

All candidate information will be reviewed upon receipt and will continue until the Head of School is selected. It is anticipated that selection will be made no later than early winter for start summer 2027 or earlier.
Qualifications:
A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a deep love for students and a desire to see young people grow in truth and faith.
Passionate about living out his/her calling through the Christian education of students.
Eager to serve in a Christian learning environment, modeling Christ-likeness through his/her diligence, perseverance, resilience, patience, courage and Christian discipleship.
Devoted to personal and professional excellence and is willing to pursue professional development opportunities that facilitate growth.
Agrees with the WCCS Mission & Vision Statements, the Statement of Faith and the Ends Statement.
A member in good standing of a Bible-believing church.
Committed to living out the biblical principles of reconciliation spelled out in Matthew 18 when disagreement arises.
