Maintenance Technician
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the performance, reliability, and continuous operation of CNC and production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting complex equipment issues, performing repairs, and driving corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in CNC machinery, electrical and mechanical systems, automation, and preventive maintenance, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across production and engineering teams.
Essential Responsibilities
Provide troubleshooting and repair support for CNC and production equipment as needed
Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
Troubleshoot and repair issues involving:
Mechanical alignment
Electrical hardware
CNC controls and software
Peripheral devices
Automation systems
Perform repairs and maintenance involving:
Servo systems
PLCs
Hydraulics
Pneumatics
Interpret mechanical, electrical, and assembly drawings to support repairs and installations
Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and technical reports as required
Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices
Support continuous improvement initiatives and proactively identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Electronics or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 7 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance and industrial troubleshooting
Strong experience with:
CNC controls
Servo systems
PLCs
Automation systems
Machine tool maintenance
Solid mechanical aptitude with knowledge of:
Precision measurement
Machine tool theory
Hydraulics and pneumatics
Experience with FANUC and/or SIEMENS CNC controls preferred
Prior technical writing or maintenance documentation experience preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a manufacturing environment with minimal supervision
