Facilities Supervisor - Plant Farley
This team member will provide direction and oversight for the daily activities of the Facilities Maintenance team, including Painter Material Handlers and Nuclear Technicians.
The successful candidate will:
Have ultimate oversight responsibility for upkeep and maintenance of plant facilities, grounds, landscaping, and similar. This includes all plant areas, both inside and outside of the protected area.
Have responsibility for the proper contract administration and task direction of contracts covering numerous and various contractors and services for both routine and unforeseen facility needs.
Maintain a thorough commitment to total customer service and satisfaction.
Set and reinforce management standards and expectations in the organization.
Monitor performance of and provide feedback to assigned personnel while maintaining a focus on personnel development.
Be the overall administrator of SNC/IBEW Memorandum of Agreement as it applies to the Facilities Maintenance team.
Job requirements:
Seven [7] years related work experience required, including at least 5 years of nuclear plant experience in a leadership or decision-making role.
Operations department experience is strongly preferred
Must possess a demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, demonstrate a bias for action, and make excellent decisions with minimal supervision.
Must possess a thorough working knowledge of plant layout and functional operation.
Must have an understanding of radiation protection standards
Must be (or willing to become) qualified as an OSHA Excavation Competent Person and Confined Space Supervisor, as assigned.
Must be available for evening, weekend, and emergent callout work.
