
Supervisor Plant Operations

The Supervisor, Plant Operations provides oversight of plant operations, including facility maintenance, procurement, fleet operations, and asset management activities. This role is responsible for supervising daily operations, coordinating complex maintenance, fleet, and capital improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards, safety requirements, and budgetary controls.
Responsibilities
Strategic Project Management (Large-scale Projects):
Leads planning, scheduling, and execution of large-scale and high-impact projects, optimizing resources, timelines, and operational efficiency across facilities and fleet operations. Provides direct supervision, coaching, and mentorship to plant operations, facilities, and fleet personnel; promotes cost‑containment and efficiency initiatives; and drives continuous improvement efforts to enhance reliability, safety, and overall operational performance.
Advanced Asset Management:
Oversees advanced asset and fleet management functions, ensuring accurate tracking, preventive maintenance, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle management of facility infrastructure, vehicles, and mobile equipment.
Procurement & Purchasing Oversight:
Directs purchasing and invoicing activities, including review and approval of purchase orders, reconciliation of invoices, and maintenance of procurement documentation related to facilities and fleet operations.
Vendor & Contractor Relations:
Serves as the primary point of contact for vendors and contractors, oversees service contracts, evaluates vendor performance, and ensures service delivery meets organizational requirements.
Process Improvement & Compliance:
Monitors fleet utilization, coordinates vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensures compliance with licensing, inspection, and safety requirements, and maintains comprehensive records for equipment and fleet assets.
Qualifications
Experience:
5 years in facilities management or maintenance.
Education:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Licensure/Certification:
ASSE: 12010 Environment of Care, Infection Control and Construction Risk Assessment for Construction and Maintenance Personnel; OSHA 10: Basic Safety; Forklift/Aerial Lift.
