The Boys & Girls Club is looking for a dedicated, professional, and organized individual to keep things running smoothly as our Summer Membership Coordinator. If you're passionate, professional, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you. This position is responsible for entering membership and activity information into a database, answering phones, communicating with parents and youth, taking payments, and interacting with/mentoring youth. They are also responsible for overseeing the lobby and monitoring the main entrance into the facility.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Maintain accurate membership records and database entries, process applications and renewals
Field inquiries from families and provide exceptional customer service
Help coordinate member events and meetings
Maintain office supplies and inventory
Assist with financial tasks such as invoicing and payment processing
Perform general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Engage with our young members, offering mentorship and support as they navigate their Club experience
Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Needed Knowledge
Some front desk, office, or customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Docs, with the ability to learn new software tools as needed
Excellent organizational skills, with both electronic data and physical files
Ability to handle personal information with sensitivity and confidentiality
Ability to communicate effectively over the phone, in person, and over email
Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a lively, energetic environment
Willingness to learn and implement Trauma-Informed Practices to help create an environment of safety, awareness, trust, and empathy with youth and fellow staff members
Willingness to develop and exemplify social-emotional competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making
Requirements
Must be able to pass a criminal background check, MVR check, and drug screening
Job Preferences
21 years and over (to meet driving requirements), be willing and able to drive 15 passenger vans
Bilingual Spanish/English speaking preferred
2 years of office and/or customer service experience
1 year of experience working with youth
