Position Summary
The Requisition Technician supports procurement and materials coordination activities by processing purchase requisitions, tracking orders, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams. This role ensures accurate, timely ordering and delivery of materials while following established procedures and providing strong administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Purchase Requisition (PR) Technical Screener
Process approved material and service orders in procurement systems
Ensure accuracy of requisitions, documentation, and tracking reports
Conduct basic product research as requested
Track delivery schedules and follow up on outstanding orders
Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse personnel on delivery issues
Provide general administrative and procurement support
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
1+ year of experience in procurement, inventory, or customer service (or equivalent)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP, Coupa, or similar systems preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively and work across teams
Additional Requirements
Ability to obtain a TWIC card
Ability to pass drug screening and required safety training
Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed
Work Environment
Primarily office‑based with prolonged computer use and standard office equipment.
