Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician / Mechanic to support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems to ensure optimal equipment performance, minimize downtime, and maintain a safe, efficient workplace.
Shift Details
3rd Shift:
Sunday–Thursday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (occasional Fridays as needed)
Training Requirement:
Must be available to train on 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) for several weeks
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including:
AC/DC motors, transformers, panel boards, and control systems
Electrical conduit, wiring, outlets, and fixtures
Pneumatic systems and production equipment
Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and automated machinery
Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate service documentation
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Support production with equipment setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting
Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutionsEnsure compliance with all safety standards and maintain a clean work environment
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment reliability
Assist with additional maintenance duties as needed
Qualifications
Minimum
2+ years of Maintenance Electrician experience
in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong knowledge of
AC/DC electrical systems and control circuits
Experience troubleshooting
PLC systems
Ability to read and interpret
schematics and blueprints
Basic computer skills and solid math aptitude
Experience with
preventive maintenance programs
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Work Environment & Expectations
Industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
Must be able to work assigned shift and be flexible for overtime or on-call needs
