
Lube Technician

This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Quick Lube Service Technician will change a vehicle's oil, and other fluids and check levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges.

Responsibilities
Perform oil changes on guest vehicles with speed, efficiency and accuracy
Inspect and replace oil, cabin, air filter and vehicle fluids and check tire pressure
Tire mounting and balancing
Perform Detailed Multi-Point Inspection
Excellent communication skills
Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician
Ensures that customer's cars are kept clean
Machining rotors
Requirements
Ford Certification is a plus
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
Ability to identify the problem quickly
Knowledge of automobiles
Effective analytical and communication skills
Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
High school diploma or GED
Technical degree preferred
Minimum of 1 year in service department
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills
