Job Overview
As a Waterski Instructor, you will work on our four brand‑new tournament Malibu boats, driving the boats and teaching kids how to Waterski, Wakeboard, Kneeboard, Tube, and Wake Surf. You will uphold safety standards and allow kids to experience a variety of watersports while working on a team of 10–16 other instructors.
You will also live with a group of children aged 7‑16 in a cabin and be involved with campers during meals, evenings, and overnight trips.
Responsibilities
Drive boats and teach water sports (waterskiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, tubing, wake surfing).
Maintain safety standards and ensure protective gear usage.
Engage campers in camp activities, meals, and overnight trips.
Collaborate with a team of instructors to provide a fun and supportive environment.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Experience with waterskiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and/or tubing.
Boating/boat driving experience and certification.
Passion for boats and watersports.
Motivated, hardworking, dedicated, and positive individual.
Desire to make a difference in kids' lives.
Experience working with kids is a plus.
CANDIDATES WITH BOATING LICENSES/ BOAT DRIVING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Job Type
Full‑time, Seasonal
Compensation and Benefits
Housing in dormitory‑style cabins, with some private housing available.
Regular days and nights off throughout summer.
All meals and laundry service included.
Base salary starting at $3,000 for the summer.
$500 completion bonus.
Additional pay for specialized skills starting at $500–$1,000+.
Up to $500 travel stipend (for distances greater than 450 miles).
$100 “refer‑a‑friend” bonus for hired individuals who arrive to work at camp.
Free room and board.
