Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. In this role, you will produce high-quality CT scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Financial Incentives & Compensation
Sign-On Bonus:
$15,000 for night shifts / $10,000 for day shifts (requires a 2-year commitment).
Starting Salary:
From $33.66/hour (final rate is dependent on education and experience).
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Obtain patient histories, explain procedures, and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and comfort.
Technical Excellence:
Operate and maintain CT scanner equipment; perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checks.
Clinical Safety:
Administer medications within scope of practice and strictly adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure.
Documentation:
Maintain precise logs, charts, and electronic records in compliance with established policies.
Collaboration:
Assist in other radiology departments as needed and manage consumable supplies for quality testing.
Candidate Requirements
Certification:
ARRT certification in General Radiologic Technology is required.
Specialization:
Must be Certified as a CT Technologist. Candidates not yet CT certified must complete cross‑training and certification within 12 months.
Education:
Graduation from an AMA‑approved school of radiology technology is required; an Associate degree in Radiology is highly preferred.
Life Support:
Current BLS certification (AHA, ARC, or equivalent) must be valid through the start date.
