Position Details
Position Type: Summer Programs / Custodian.

Location: Brooke County Board of Education.
Location
Countywide 6 a.m. – 2 p.m. Start and ending dates to be determined. Monday through Friday. 8 hours per day. Must not conflict with full-time regular contracted work days.
Roles & Duties
Applicants are subject to assignment of various duties as assigned by the maintenance foreman.
It is the duty of the summer employee to follow standard procedures in making repairs and operating equipment.
Report to the crewleader and maintenance foreman any defects discovered while working on the projects.
Keep work area clean, safe, and sanitary for all individuals to work in.
Follow safety procedures for the job being performed.
Wear and use safety equipment appropriate to the job assignment.
Maintain positive work habits.
Perform duties efficiently and productively.
Some employees will be designated as a crewleader.
Assignments will be determined by the maintenance foreman.
Perform all other tasks as may be assigned by the maintenance foreman.
Able to perform heavy lifting, i.e., furniture.
Must be able to operate a weed eater.
Must be able to operate Ventrac riding mower.
Qualifications
Determined by crew assignment.
Salary
Brooke County Pay Scale. Salary based on experience and education level per CBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits. Package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
