Hours and number of days to be determined by the Director of Special Education and Related Services; reports to Supervisor of Early Childhood Education to commence in June 2026 after school ends and run for up to 20 days.
Job Description
Responsible for conducting teacher assessments to determine eligibility of Pre-K students for services within the early childhood education program.
Duties
Report to the Executive Director of Special Education and related services and/or designee.
Conduct teacher assessments to assist in determining eligibility of Pre-K students.
Attend team meetings.
Develop Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) for children qualifying for services.
Assist with assignments for Special Education Pre-K students.
Qualifications
Currently employed as an Early Childhood Teacher.
Knowledge of early childhood assessments.
Working knowledge of compliance and IEP development.
Expertise in utilizing the Special Education and related databases and technology.
Skill in data searches and document upload.
Willingness to work in any school.
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a compliant caseload.
Prior experience performing the above duties preferred.
Experience working with early intervention agencies and the preschool population.
