Classes are EVERY Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 6:00PM-10:00PM for three weeks.
Candidates must attend all classes in order to graduate.
A dealer school involves learning how to operate gaming tables, deal cards and dice, and provide customer service to players. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
Deal their games to the best of their ability and according to casino policies and procedures.
Provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to all customers
Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
Responsible for the integrity of their assigned table.
Handle all payoffs, customer buy-ins, fills and credits.
Knowledge of all promotions and events.
Follow company appearance standards.
Maintain professionalism when dealing with guests and co-workers.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must have pass a math and dexterity test.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must have a high degree of mental and physical dexterity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to tactfully control and pace their assigned game.
Must be able to work nights and weekends.
Minimum age requirement is 21.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School graduate or equivalent
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic math skills.
Language Skills:
Must be able to speak and understand English.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
Ability to regularly move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds.
Constantly walking up to distances of 500 ft. during shift.
Frequently stooping, reaching.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment. There are occasional hot and cold temperature changes.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
Work with others in close spaces.
Moderate to high noise levels.
Walk/stand on tile/mats/carpet/cement.
Pay Range
USD $12.00 - USD $12.00 /Hr.
Tipped Position
This position does not earn tips.
