Position Summary

The Benefits Manager will be responsible for overseeing the employee benefits program of our company. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive benefits package that meets the needs of both the employer and the employees. The Benefits Manager will monitor the various plans and policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company objectives. They will also stay informed of industry changes and new developments to help the business keep up with best practice standards.
What you’ll do

Recommends benefits programs to management by studying employee requirements, trends, and developments in benefits offered by other organizations.
Supports management’s decision-making process by analyzing benefit options and predicting future costs.
Identifies benefit options by studying programs and obtaining advice from consultants.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing laws and regulations and updates to legal requirements.
Informs employees of benefit usage by preparing and distributing benefit reports.
Manages benefits staff by coaching, counseling, and mentoring employees.
Resolve employee questions and problems by interpreting benefit policies and procedures.
Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as directed.
About you

A bachelor’s or associate degree in human resources, business administration or a related field
Minimum of five years’ experience of working with relevant benefits management
Highly knowledgeable with all aspects of employee benefits programs
Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently with minimal direction
Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
