Your responsibilities include:
Leading by example with exceptional sales ability and a strong presence on the sales floor, setting the pace for your team!
Having strong business acumen and a strategic and analytical mindset. Continually analyzing reporting, sales trend data and consumer insights to make data-based business decisions that drive sales and deliver KPI expectations.
Generating new sales opportunities through customer outreach and community activation.
Being a people leader: Passionate about recruiting, hiring and retaining a high-performing team. Invested in your team's development and take pride in helping associates grow through training, performance feedback, individual development plans and annual performance reviews.
Believing in teamwork: Consistently providing ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching. Making consistently connecting with your team a priority and drive associate engagement by celebrating your team's progress and performance!
Upholding Vera Bradley's brand standards through exceptional visual merchandising. Communicating the brand's aesthetic, philosophy and lifestyle to associates and customers. Providing a clean, organized and inviting environment for all!

You'd be great for this role if
You have 2+ years of prior retail management experience or proven Vera Bradley management ability.
You have proven experience engaging community through local outreach, in-store events and partnerships.
You're available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support store opening, closing and peak business needs.
You're at least 18 years of age.
You are a high school graduate (or equivalent), or ideally have a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field.
Environmental and physical demands include:
Constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping and reaching
Strong sensory skills such as good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity
Ability to consistently lift 10-35 lbs.; Occasionally lift up to 55 lbs. with the ability to push or pull more than 55 lbs.
Occasional overnight travel as required for company business

Base Pay Range:
$60,457.00 - $90,685.00

Individual pay within the listed range depends on work location, skills, experience, and relevant education.
