Material Handler / Shipping Associate
7am – 3pm Mon-Fri
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Move job material in the plant using pump jack, electric jack, forklift, or Hi-Lo
QC packaging of jobs according to directions listed on job bag.
Secure pallets for shipping using shrink wrap or strapping.
Assist in packing boxes to make ready for shipment.
Generate shipping documents that include Bills of Lading (BOL’s), shipping labels, and packing labels.
Ensure pallets are labeled and correct shipping documents are attached.
Load/unload trucks and vans
Keep the Bindery and Shipping staging areas neat and organized.
Perform other duties as requested.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Previous Shipping/warehouse experience.
Previous experience operating Hi-Lo, forklift, and electric pallet jack.
Knowledge of using a computer for data entry
Knowledge of general maintenance procedures
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
