Kitchen Prep Cook

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team in the vibrant setting of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and portion ingredients according to the recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.

Maintain a well-organized and clean workstation, ensuring efficient and smooth kitchen operations.

Ensure all prepared items meet quality standards and are consistent with menu specifications.

Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service.

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Prep Cook in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred.

Basic understanding of food preparation techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.

Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in food preparation.

Efficient time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
