Teachers for 2026 ESYS Special Education summer program, summer school site.
The district is seeking Special Education teachers for the following grade level positions:
VOICES Grades K-1
VOICES Grade 3
Life Skills Grades K-1
The Special Education Summer School classes will be held from July 13 through July 31, 2025, Monday through Friday, from 8:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. each week.
Applicants must hold a valid State of Connecticut teaching certificate with endorsement in Special Education (065, 165, 265) or equivalent/appropriate endorsement. Strong familiarity with appropriate special education teaching strategies and techniques is required. A wage of $51 per hour will be paid.
Appointments are contingent upon budget approval for the summer school program.
