Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, an international law firm, is actively recruiting a RIS & CLE Coordinator. This position provides administrative and research support to the Research & Information Services (RIS) team and assists with Continuing Legal Education (CLE) activities across the firm.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Reviews and codes library invoices and enters them into Emburse Enterprise for RIS Director approval.
Downloads, verifies, and processes monthly charges for Lexis, Westlaw, Bloomberg, Accurint, Courthouse News, and PACER to ensure timely transfer to the appropriate accounts for inclusion on client pre‑bills.
Fulfills research requests for news articles, legal publications, and other relevant materials in a timely and accurate manner.
Supports the CLE accreditation of internal professional development programs and client presentations in all jurisdictions where the firm has an office.
Maintains the firmwide CLE application database with course materials, agendas, sign‑in sheets, applications, and all other documentation associated with each CLE program in viDesktop.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of three years’ job‑related experience required, including internships, preferably in a law firm. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Other Qualifications:
Ability to generate a large volume of work and make sound decisions in the absence of clear instructions. Exceptional written and verbal communication and listening skills. Accurate typing, word processing skills, attention to detail. High quality spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure, patience, diplomacy, high stress tolerance, and prioritization. Visual acuity for transcription, extensive reading, and advanced keyboard usage. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, reach, stoop or bend for tasks involving files or supplies weighing up to 5‑10 pounds. Ability to maintain flexibility regarding work assignments, including overtime on short notice. Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each of the responsibilities and accountabilities described above, with or without reasonable accommodation.
