UNIT CLERK
Location: Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Beacon, 10 Hastings Dr, Beacon, NY 12508, USA
SCHEDULE: Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Rate: $17.35/hr - $18.05/hr
JOB SUMMARY:
This position provides clerical support to the facility nursing team, for the units they support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedules residents appointments (in‑house consults and out‑of‑house appointments)
Schedules transportation for resident appointments out of house
Obtains insurance (Medicaid) approval for transportation if applicable
Discuss out‑of‑pocket transport cost with appropriate responsible party/patient if applicable
Provides completed outside appointment information to resident/responsible party

Education
