
Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading organization in outdoor manufacturing and logistics, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the yard and shipping teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Pay: $18/hour
Shift: 1st shift M-F (6am-6pm) 2nd shift M-Thurs (6am-6pm) Sat O/T as needed
What's the Job?
Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
Organize products on the yard according to established inventory procedures.
Safely load and unload products from flatbeds and box trailers, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation through auditing, recording, and interpreting shipping data.
Perform routine inspections, fueling, and preventive maintenance duties such as lubrication, cleaning, and battery changes.
What's Needed?
At least 2 years of experience operating a 5,000 lb forklift in an outdoor yard environment.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Ability to perform routine inspections, fueling, and preventive maintenance duties.
Strong reading, writing, math, communication, and comprehension skills to interface with transportation and dispatch teams.
Ability to pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.
