
Structural Project Lead - Modular Projects

This role is focused on structural design for modular and prefabricated building systems, supporting a diverse portfolio of projects across the Rocky Mountain region and beyond. Modular delivery requires a high level of adaptability, coordination, and design flexibility, and this role will be central to developing efficient, repeatable, and innovative structural solutions.
What You’ll Do
Perform structural design and analysis with an emphasis on modular, prefabricated, and volumetric construction systems
Design steel-framed, wood, and hybrid structural systems tailored for off-site fabrication and on-site assembly
Develop construction documents, calculations, and specifications that support modular production workflows
Collaborate closely with architects, manufacturers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration between design, fabrication, and installation
Utilize Revit to develop and manage structural models, with attention to repeatable components and system efficiency
Coordinate with fabrication partners and contractors to address transportation, lifting, and assembly constraints
Participate in project meetings and support client communication
Assist with site observations and construction administration as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Typically 4+ years of relevant structural engineering experience
Experience with steel and wood frame design required; modular or prefabrication experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in Revit
PE or SE license required, or a passed PE/SE exam
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and adapt designs to meet the unique constraints of modular construction
Strong coordination and problem‑solving skills, particularly in fast‑paced or non‑traditional project delivery environments
What We Offer
We are targeting a base salary of $85,000 to $115,000, but it is determined by several factors including education, experience, and a history of working in the Denver metro area.
