Responsibilities
The Monitor Technician’s primary function is to evaluate the cardiac rhythm status of adult patients while on telemetry monitoring and identify and report cardiac rhythm emergencies as well as rhythm changes to both the RN and physician.
Requirements
Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Previous experience with cardiac monitoring preferred.
Medical terminology preferred.
Computer experience preferred.
Must have good, basic math skills (decimals, multiplication, division).
Compensation
Min: USD $17.83/Hr. Max: USD $26.75/Hr.
Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid‑portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
