We are actively seeking a skilled
Benefits Coordinator
in
Princeton, NJ . The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the administration of employee benefits in all company operations. As needed, this person provides special guidance and assistance to all locations on various employee benefit plans.
This is an onsite role .
Starting Pay is $42,000 to $50,000 based on experience
Responsibilities
Distribute information on, and explain benefits programs such as pension, medical and dental, life, and accident and disability, to employees and dependents
Verify and complete benefits enrollments
Complete state and federal employee healthcare verifications documents and other healthcare related verification forms
Investigate and resolve questions regarding delivery and payment for services by contacting health care professionals and other service providers, benefit plan providers, and employees
Calculate benefit deductions, submit paperwork to payroll, and resolve any payment discrepancies
Produce benefit enrollment, benefits deduction, and plan participation reports
Responsible for COBRA administration
Maintain accurate files of enrollments, claim information, and other documentation
Ensure compliance with various federal and state mandates
Provide training and respond to inquiries regarding all benefits offerings
Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required
One-year related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent writing skills, and the ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
Experience using browsers, and a working knowledge of the Internet
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi‑task
Good knowledge of company and departmental policies and procedures
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information regarding changes in state and federal law pertaining to benefits
