
Class A - Shuttle Driver (Night Shift)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Shuttle Driver will be delivering product with a tractor/trailer between our Highland Park and Detroit depot to cross docks located throughout Michigan. These locations include but are not limited to Saginaw, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Gaylord, and Traverse City. Other duties include but are not limited to:
Perform pre/post trip inspections
Follow all D.O.T. and State regulated laws including HOS and ELD compliance
Unload product at cross-docks
Assist in separating and staging product
Operate power and manual pallet jacks
Operate hi‑lo equipment
Perform clean-up of area as needed
Take loads to other depots to cover other drivers
Other tasks as assigned by supervision
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position working Sunday through Thursday starting at 6:00 PM. Start times may fluctuate and occasional Fridays may be required based on holiday schedules and business needs.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
The Shuttle Driver will be on the road in all weather conditions. This position is also physically demanding in nature, separating and loading cases, and requires the Driver to occasionally lift up to 55 pounds.

Required Qualifications
21 years of age and older
Chauffeur and CDL A license with airbrake endorsement
Hi‑Lo and pallet jack experience
Willing to work in all weather conditions
Willingness to take direction and work independently
Ability to occasionally lift up to 55 lbs
Acceptable driving record
A valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required for this position. All applicants will be subject to a driving record check as part of the interview process.

Cooperates with all management and staff of GLWAS
Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position
Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities
