Front Desk Assistant - Summer Camp Season

Kidcreate Studio is an art studio just for children. We teach classes, camps and birthday parties in our studio locations in Dana Point, Aliso Viejo and throughout the South Orange County community. Kidcreate South Orange County is owned by a local entrepreneur who is passionate about kids, quality art education, and the local community. She values the members of her teaching team and is committed to maintaining a supportive and rewarding work environment.
We are currently looking for someone to fill an important role on our summer team in the Aliso Viejo studio. This is a perfect opportunity for
a college student looking for summer work .
The schedule for our summer Front Desk Associate will ideally be:
Monday-Thursday
8:30 - 2:30
June 1 - August 7

What you'll do
Arrive 30 minutes before camp begins to open and prepare the front desk
Welcome children and parents as they arrive
Help check in campers and support a smooth camp start each morning
Answer phone calls and respond to basic customer emails
Greet and assist studio visitors throughout the day
Sell retail and maintain the studio shop
Help organize and dismiss morning campers
Reset the front desk and shop between morning and afternoon camp sessions
Assist with studio upkeep and care
Support the Studio Manager with light marketing tasks
What is required
Must be 18 years or older
Willing to submit to a DOJ/FBI background check
Able to lift and carry 10-20 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally
