operations and financial performance , this role puts you in charge of a high‑impact service business. As the Sprinkler Service Supervisor, you will lead technicians, strengthen customer relationships, drive revenue growth, and ensure safe, high‑quality service delivery across your territory.
What You Will Do
Own the Business
Lead the Sprinkler Service Department with full responsibility for
revenue, margins, and profitability
Manage departmental
P&L , labor, inventory, capital expenses, and collections
Drive service growth through new bookings, expansions, and market penetration
Execute strategic plans to meet or exceed corporate financial and operational goals
Deliver Exceptional Service
Serve as a trusted partner to customers from contract execution through service completion
Ensure all service commitments, timelines, and quality standards are consistently met
Resolve service, scheduling, billing, and collection issues with urgency and professionalism
Partner with internal teams and leadership to support customer retention and satisfaction
Lead and Develop the Team
Hire, train, coach, and develop a high‑performing team of technicians and support staff
Balance workloads, territories, and schedules to maximize productivity and response time
Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching
Conduct ride‑alongs to assess safety, technical quality, and efficiency
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional growth
Champion Safety
Enforce Johnson Controls safety programs, EH&S policies, and regulatory compliance
Ensure all safety training is current, documented, and effective
Investigate incidents, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions
Lead by example to promote a culture of safety and risk awareness
Provide Technical & Operational Oversight
Support complex service and troubleshooting of
wet, dry, and pre‑action sprinkler systems , fire pumps, backflows, and associated components
Review blueprints, specifications, inspections, and repairs to ensure compliance and quality
Serve as a technical resource to field teams as needed
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
7+ years
of hands‑on experience with water‑based fire sprinkler systems
3–5 years
of supervisory or management experience with financial responsibility
NICET Level II
in Water‑Based Systems (or higher)
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Proven ability to operate in a fast‑paced, customer‑driven service environment
Results‑oriented, accountable, detail‑focused professional with a strong work ethic
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Additional NICET certifications (Fire Alarm or Special Hazards)
Experience managing large territories or high‑revenue service operations
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100K to $140K. This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
