Position Overview
Maintenance Technician responsible for maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, machines, and facilities at Ice Cream Specialties. Hourly pay $25.50, Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, with mandatory overtime on Saturdays.

Responsibilities
Set up machines for various products.
Troubleshoot hydraulics, electrical, and pneumatics.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
Repair, rebuild, and weld components.
Lubricate equipment; repair hand trucks.
Repair and maintain building infrastructure.
Other duties assigned by supervisor.
Essential Skills and Experience
Mechanical background.
Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Welding – TIG/Stick.
Read blueprints (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
Plumbing skills (water, air, and hydraulic).
Ammonia refrigeration knowledge.
Time management – ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet on a ladder or man lift.
Availability to work weekends.
Nonessential Skills
Wastewater treatment experience (a plus).
Work Environment
Employee may be exposed to very hot or cold temperatures. The noise level can be extremely loud.
Physical Demands
Employee must be able to bend, walk, work in extreme heat and cold, climb steps, use a ladder, and enter confined spaces. Must quickly respond to production needs (200-300 feet in approximately 30 seconds) and lift heavy parts and equipment. Vision requirements include close, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
