Responsibilities
As a Ride Operator at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, you are the first line of excitement and safety. You’ll create unforgettable guest experiences by operating thrilling attractions, enforcing safety procedures, and keeping the fun flowing smoothly. From energizing guests before launch to responding calmly and confidently in high‑pressure moments, you’ll play a critical role in delivering safe, heart‑pounding memories.

You’ll also:

Keep ride areas clean and guest‑ready

Maintain professionalism in every interaction

Respond swiftly and responsibly to any emergency

HOW YOU WILL DO IT

Create exciting, high-energy experiences for guests and teammates

Put safety first—always—while delivering nonstop fun

Perform daily equipment checks before rides open

Confidently operate rides using controls, signals, and communication

Assist guests with boarding, unloading, and safety instructions

Be ready to stop a ride instantly in critical situations

Rotate between various attractions—from family favorites to extreme thrill rides

Work in environments that may include weather exposure, heights, and loud machinery

Keep ride areas clean, safe, and welcoming (including queues, surfaces, and trash areas)

Accurately complete required paperwork and ride documentation

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years old

Strong awareness of safety and ability to respond to emergencies

Availability for flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays

4 full days of availability during summer operations

Thrive in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Friendly, outgoing, and professional with guests

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move for extended periods

Capable of reading and following ride operating procedures

Successfully pass ride certification tests with 100% accuracy

OTHER NOTES

May perform other duties beyond scope of above as necessary to support the park as a whole.
