As a Safety Learning and Development (SLeD) Program Manager, you will be the single‑threaded leader in North America, responsible for driving Learning Management System (LMS) excellence and training compliance across the region. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing LMS processes, maintaining data integrity, and implementing system‑wide efficiencies to support regulatory compliance requirements. This role goes beyond day‑to‑day coordination; you will be trusted to lead special projects and strategic process improvements in the SLeD domain that strengthen content uploads, management, and improve stakeholder visibility. You will own end‑to‑end LMS processes, driving efficiencies and standardisation across global operations, while maintaining strict compliance with training requirements and regulatory standards. At the same time, you will gain a profound understanding of the tactical demands of a wide portfolio of training programmes, ensuring seamless assignments for thousands of learners.

Key job responsibilities

Lead special projects and process improvement initiatives to optimise multiple LMS use‑cases, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

Solve customer issues via tickets on training barriers, extensions, completion issues, and escalations, maintaining compliance documentation standards.

Serve as single‑threaded leader to configure learning paths, user permissions, and manage training across multiple programmes, ensuring seamless operations.

Leverage LMS and internal RIVER tools to maintain intakes, courses, adoption, and compliance reporting accuracy.

Drive continuous improvement of LMS functionality through system updates, user feedback, and performance metrics.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of programme or project management experience.

Experience working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams.

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.

Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Organisational Development, Business Administration or related fields.

Experience owning programme strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and reacting with appropriate urgency to situations requiring a quick turnaround.

Experience managing multiple projects, prioritising, planning, and managing time.

End‑to‑end management of Learning Management Systems (LMS).

High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.

Flexible, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organisational development, instructional design or related field.

Experience managing large data sets and utilising them to drive performance and process improvements.

Experience delivering results for large, cross‑functional initiatives/projects, or experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis.

Holds a recognised Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent).

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
