HR Manager:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated HR Manager to lead recruitment and human resources operations. This role is critical in attracting, hiring, and retaining qualified professionals who provide compassionate, high-quality care and support to individuals. The HR Manager will oversee the full recruitment lifecycle while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations specific to DDD services.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Lead full-cycle recruitment for roles such as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), case managers, nurses, and administrative staff
Develop recruitment strategies to address high-volume positions
Work with operations to understand the hiring needs and hire accordingly
Build connections through community outreach, job fairs, and schools
Onboarding & Compliance
Oversee onboarding processes, including background checks, fingerprinting, and credential verification
Ensure compliance with DDD regulations, and state licensing standards
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely completion of required documentation
HR Operations
Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards
Support employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
Monitor turnover and implement retention strategies, particularly for frontline staff
Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and staffing ratios
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience as an HR Manager or Talent Acquisition Manager
Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, tools, and best practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
