SHIPPING/RECEIVING CLERK-AG
Job Title: SHIPPING/RECEIVING CLERK-AG
Location: Keyport, WA 98345 US (Primary)
Job Type / Status: Full-Time
Education: High School / GED
Clearance Level Required: Secret
Job Description: The Shipping Receiving Clerk performs clerical and physical tasks in conjunction with shipping goods and receiving incoming shipments.
Work involves:
Shipping Duties:
Verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents
Ensuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transmitting vehicles
Preparing and keeping records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of landing
Receiving Duties:
Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
Verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of landing, invoices, manifests, strag e receipts, or other records
Checking for damaged goods
Ensuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment
Preparing and keeping records of goods received
Applicant may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehouse duties.
All work will be performed on site during regular scheduled working hours.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
Ability to obtain and hold a DoD Secret Clearance
Valid US Driver’s License
Ability to frequently lift 50lbs
Ability to obtain forklift license
Ability to work overtime as requested
Must pass periodic drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented, innovative, and proactive
Organized and capable of multitasking
