
Internship in Supplier Part Quality Engineering (International Student) Mercedes

Responsibilities
Creation of a tracking tool for repeat issues/escalated suppliers for cross functional evaluation with historical data
Support for PQE and SQO on high risk supplier with addressing issues directly to the supplier including follow up and tracking
New Digitalizing Efforts
Weekly presentations of Top Critical Suppliers and Current Status
Support Daily PQE Work
Support Daily SQO Projects
Monitor Supplier Progress
Support Departmental Change Efforts
Create Update Management Reports
Assist with Yard Management Efforts
Qualifications
Education:
Student in: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related area, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
Flexible Work Schedule
Ability to work in a team environment
Process Auditing
Good Communication - Verbal/Written
Strong Critical Thinking/Problem Solving
Quality Management
Extensive Skills of MS Applications, including Power BI
Proven Time Management Skills
Ability to organize complex data into reports

Benefits
Paid Internship - hourly rate $18
Coverage of visa costs
$700 monthly housing stipend
Requirements
Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master’s degree
Studies outside of the U.S.A.
A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
Available for a minimum of 6 months
