
SUA 2 | Testing Coordinator

Position Summary
Coordinate, schedule, and administer exams for students approved for testing accommodations; manage and monitor the alternative textbook process for students who need alternative text options; implement approved accommodations, including extended time, reduced‑distraction testing environments, alternative formats, assistive technology, and reader/scribe services; communicate with faculty regarding exam delivery, accommodation requirements, and exam return procedures; maintain secure handling, storage, and tracking of exams and testing materials; proctor exams and monitor testing environments to ensure adherence to institutional testing and academic integrity; work with office staff to schedule testing proctors and student employees; maintain accurate records related to testing appointments, accommodations provided, and exam completion; address and resolve testing‑related issues or conflicts in a timely, professional manner; ensure compliance with federal and state disability laws, university policies, and best practices in accessibility; collaborate with Disability staff to support office operations and student access initiatives; help coordinate voter registration for students with disabilities; perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in special education, education, or related field
Successful performance in an on‑campus interview and pass a criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in special education or related field.
