Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Material Handlers in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Pay & Schedule

Hourly Pay $21.00 per hour

Additional Pay: $1.00 when working Mid Shift

First Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Mid Shift: Monday-Friday 10:30 am - 7:30 pm

Daily Work

Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Ensure accurate picking, packing, and inventory auditing.

Maintain paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.

Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

One (1) year or more of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.

Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to work within a diverse work environment and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.

Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and well-attended.

Can work with minimal supervision and has a high initiative.

Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure.

Can lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Familiar with health and safety methods.

Must be available to work on a flexible schedule across various shifts.

Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
