Warehouse Material Handler – Apopka, FL
Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Apopka, Florida.
Hourly pay: $19.95 per hour.
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
Manage day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
At least one year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred).
Valid Forklift Operator's License (certified).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Team‑player skills and ability to work within a diverse environment.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
High degree of initiative and accuracy, even under pressure.
Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Adherence to health and safety methods.
Availability to work on a flexible schedule across various work shifts.
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
