ICCU is seeking an
Information Security Analyst I
with a
Physical Security specialty
to help maintain and strengthen the Credit Union’s security posture. In this entry‑level analyst role, you will support and maintain physical and technical security systems while following ICCU’s risk‑based security program and best‑practice controls.
This position blends
hardware, software, and strategy
— helping ensure that access control systems, surveillance tools, monitoring platforms, and security processes work together to protect ICCU team members, members, and facilities.
Responsibilities
Performing system health checks by reviewing access control logs, surveillance system uptime, and alert dashboards to identify anomalies early
Verifying that critical infrastructure, entry points, and controlled areas are secure and functioning as designed
Responding to and triaging security tickets, such as badge access issues, alarm alerts, or sensor irregularities
Supporting the design and refinement of physical security architecture, including surveillance coverage, access workflows, and hardware placement
Collaborating with Information Technology, Facilities, and Security teams to align physical controls with network and operational requirements
Assisting with incident response by reviewing footage, analyzing alarms, and supporting investigations
Evaluating emerging technologies and tools that may support ICCU’s physical security posture
Conducting or assisting with risk assessments related to facilities, renovations, or operational changes
Documenting system configurations, changes, findings, and recommendations for leadership
Supporting audits and compliance activities related to ICCU’s Security Program
General Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze and report on controls associated with the Idaho Central Credit Union Security Program
Maintain and support the Splunk SIEM platform
Provide frontline monitoring and configuration of security systems
Assist with internal and external audits
Support security investigations and response activities
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related math‑based field (preferred)
Security+ or SSCP certification
0–4 years of experience in the Information Security field
Ability to communicate effectively with Executive Management and Credit Union personnel
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to create customized reports
Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality of Credit Union and member records
Performance Standards
Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems
Ability to research, understand, and clearly report on security issues
Strong attention to detail while managing multiple projects and initiatives
Cooperative, professional, and positive attitude toward members and ICCU team members
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Willingness to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by ICCU
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to work onsite and remotely, including varying hours as needed
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Manual dexterity for tasks such as typing, processing paperwork, and operating office equipment
Ability to lift 20–40 pounds of applicable supplies
Repetitive motion using hands, wrists, and fingers
Ability to operate standard office equipment
