Job Overview
Job location: Onsite – Grand Rapids MI
Role: The Manufacturing Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in the production process. They ensure equipment runs efficiently, safely, and meets quality standards by monitoring operations, adjusting machine settings, and performing routine inspections. Operators read and interpret technical instructions, troubleshoot minor issues, and collaborate with team members to meet production targets. Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Produce in accordance with procedures and standards (production, quality, flows, health & safety, etc.)
Record production on the relevant sheets. Package and identify parts produced and affix labels, Validate conformity between the product and product labels
Ensure the conformity and cleanliness of his/her work area
Perform all work within the established health and safety guidelines

Qualifications and Skills
General experience in manufacturing, with preference given to experience in plastic injection molding production
Manual dexterity to assemble, operate, adjust and inspect components, near vision to handle small parts and to detect visual defects, normal color vision and depth perception capability
Ability to take direction from others, communication skills to work effectively in a team environment
Reading and basic math comprehension to understand and interpret training guides, standard operating procedures and quality information (SPC, charts, graphs, etc.) and to complete production reports
