SCHOOL BEHAVIOR INTERVENTION TECH NEEDED!
Our School Age Behavior Intervention Technician works under the close, ongoing supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Duties include (but not limited to):
Responsible for implementing behavioral interventions that help improve social, communication, and learning skills through positive reinforcement techniques.
Coordinates with the Behavior Intervention Specialist and/or Coordinator of Behavior Services in the development of behavior support plans and programs with an emphasis on proactive strategies for the management of individuals with challenging behaviors.
Intervenes during individuals’ inappropriate and/or potentially injurious behaviors in the least restrictive manner possible.
Along with a
bachelor’s degree
(in Psychology or related course):
1 yr experience working with developmentally disabled population
2 yrs experience managing people w/ behavior problems in a school or professional setting
First Aid Certification, CPR, and Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention-Revised training (SCIP) must be taken as provided by the agency within 90 days of hire and must be maintained.
Along with an
associate’s degree
(in Psychology or related course):
2 yrs experience working with developmentally disabled population
2 yrs experience managing people w/ behavior problems in a school or professional setting
First Aid Certification, CPR, and Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention-Revised training (SCIP) must be taken as provided by the agency within 90 days of hire and must be maintained.
Along with a
high school diploma or GED equivalent :
3 yrs experience working with developmentally disabled population
3 yrs experience managing people w/ behavior problems in a school or professional setting
First Aid Certification, CPR, and Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention-Revised training (SCIP) must be taken as provided by the agency within 90 days of hire and must be maintained.

Full Time Status (32.5 hours per week)
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Monday – Friday workweek
No evening, night or holiday shifts
Automatic Paid Time Off (STO School Time Off)
Follows a 10 month plus 6 weeks school calendar
10 paid holidays OFF!
