Description
Hoboken Grace Community Church is looking for a part-time intern for our Human Resources Department. The individual will work directly with our Business Administrator to ensure effective operation of the human resource department.
This position is ideal for anyone who is pursuing a career in Human Resources and is looking to gain valuable hands‑on experience in a non‑profit environment. The candidate must be able to work on‑site in Hoboken, NJ and must be eligible to work in the United States.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have basic knowledge of Human Resources functional areas and practices
Must have familiarity with financial statements
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials and information
Must be detail and task‑oriented
Must be able to multitask and balance multiple projects
Must be able to work on‑site
RESPONSIBILITIES
Update job postings to job boards and recruitment platforms
Process incoming applications
Draft internal and external email communications
Research and strategize new recruitment opportunities
Assist with organizing and setting up for special events as needed
SCHEDULE
May 26 - August 13, 2026
15 - 20 hours per week depending on candidate
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
$250 to $500 stipend at the end of the internship
