We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at Lakeside Dental in Cornelius, NC. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience while supporting our dental office's daily operations.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients as they arrive, ensuring a warm and professional reception.
Manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries with excellent customer service.
Maintain and update patient records in accordance with privacy regulations.
Coordinate communication between patients, dental staff, and insurance companies.
Process payments and assist with billing as needed.
Support the dental team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth office workflow.
Requirements
Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask and handle a fast‑paced work environment with a positive attitude.
Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
