Job Summary
The Service Technician II will handle day‑to‑day maintenance operations at the Retreat at Park Meadowsteam in Littleton, CO, including move‑in, move‑out apartment repairs, troubleshooting, unit turns, and overall upkeep to enhance the community and maximize resident experience. Responsibilities also include fixing equipment, maintaining high customer service standards, and supporting the team with inventory and vendor coordination.

Essential Job Functions

Schedule, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance.

Ensure service requests are completed promptly and professionally.

Diagnose problems and repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, swimming pool, carpentry, dry‑wall, and appliances.

Maintain premises, office, and grounds in clean, orderly condition.

Perform make‑ready duties on vacant units and turn units in a timely, efficient manner.

Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents.

Communicate promptly with maintenance leadership about all maintenance issues.

Manage dumpster corrals, trash enclosures/compactors as directed.

Provide on‑call service when scheduled and respond to emergency maintenance work.

Assist the Supervisor with inventory monitoring of parts and supplies.

Assist the Supervisor with vendor and contractor scheduling and communication.

Use mobile device to dispatch and complete service requests in a timely manner.

Ensure adherence to safety, hazard communications, and company policies.

Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness and alert the Maintenance Supervisor to needed repairs.

Participate in company‑provided training such as fair housing, safety, non‑discrimination, EPA, and harassment prevention.

Perform other tasks or duties as directed and assigned.

Education and Experience

1+ year of experience in maintenance service for residential communities, building maintenance, or related trade.

Renovation experience is preferred.

EPA Type I and II certification preferred.

CPO certification preferred.

Proficiency with general maintenance equipment (hand tools, ladders, refrigerant recovery units, landscaping equipment, safety equipment).

Who We Are Looking For

Ability to respond to on‑call, after‑hour emergency service; must live within a reasonable distance for efficient response.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly motivated and able to work independently.

Ability to use a smartphone to assign service requests and receive on‑call requests.

Ability to prioritize and multi‑task.

Physical Requirements

Hands‑on repair and maintenance work constitutes majority of duties.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at variable distances and use ladders to heights of 8–9 feet; work outdoors in temperatures above 90°F or below 32°F.
