Overview
We are seeking a full-time
ERP Application Analyst - Supply Chain
at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting detailed requirements and collaborating with others to determine moderately complex functional and/or solution designs.
Essential Functions
Identifies advanced test scenarios and tests customizations and configurations
Configures, tests, implements and supports Oracle eBusiness Suite applications as well as other business applications
Gathers and documents detailed requirements for business needs and collaborates with others to determine moderately complex functional and/or solution designs
Demonstrates detailed understanding/execution of the software development lifecycle
Demonstrates proficiency with troubleshooting and research tools (i.e. myOracleSupport, e-TRM, Implementation Guides, etc.) to perform moderately complex troubleshooting
Plans small/medium sized projects or tasks
Makes substantial contributions to determining feasibility of goals/objectives and participates in project definition activities including feature analysis and system tradeoffs
Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem-solving techniques including ability to find root cause and corrective action for given problems
Serves as a mentor to less experienced Application Analysts (Application Analyst 1)
Understands business impacts of issues as they relate to IT owned solutions
Supports application maintenance activities including patching and versioning updates
Participates in incident management and corrective actions and identifies interdependencies in programs
Collaborates directly with co-located and remote team members and business clients
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Businessor related field
AND
2 years relevant experience
OR
an equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of technology solutions
Experience with one or more of the following module suites: Supply Chain (Order Management, Shipping, WMS)
Experience testing custom applications and Oracle patches
Experience with PL/SQL (Programming Language/Structured Query Language)
Experience with Oracle application tools (e.g. Workflow, etc.)
Experience with Oracle Demantra, Oracle AgilePLM, Kewill Flagship, Management Dynamics Trade Automation applications
Demonstrated quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization
Desired Qualifications
Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5)
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools
Experience operating within the Agile project management philosophy, specifically scrum methodology
Experience working with internationally distributed teams and customers to deliver global solutionsExperience with compliance and privacy topics
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of how processes, data, and technology can enable problems and opportunities
